Dr. Mohamudha Parveen Rahamathulla

Dr Mohamudha Parveen has obtained Masters in Medical Microbiology from University of Madras (2005) and PhD in Medical Microbiology (2012) from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), a prestigious national medical institute in India. She is a gold medallist in Diploma in Medical Lab Technician course and University rank holder in both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Dr Mohamudha Parveen is currently working as Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Medical Lab Sciences, Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia. She is an active academician and researcher. She was awarded “Excellence in Teaching” at university level in Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, 2016. Her research interests focus on clinical bacteriology. She has been working extensively on molecular characterization of Enterobacteriaceae members with reference to drug resistance in bacteria and published reputed peer reviewed publications. She has delivered talks and presented many papers and posters in various National and International Conferences. Her further research interests are in the field E- Health, and published a book, “Emerging Trends in E-Health”. She is working as external foreign examiner for many PhD thesis and as reviewer for King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), research grants- Saudi Arabia.She is also actively serving as reviewer for more than dozen reputed, peer-reviewed Medical and Science Journals and also in the panel of editorial board for a couple of journals.
