He is an Associate Professor at Department of Food Science and Technology, Federal University of Santa Catarina , UFSC, Brazil. He completed bachelor Degree in Pharmacy Science and Biochemistry, Master in Food Safety Technology, Quality Control Assistant at Parmalat Itália S.p.A; Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology. He is the Founder of Incorpore Foods Ltda (Brazil) and Nutriplus S.r.l. , Italy. He is attached with Food industry consultant in process and technology development with over 60 SKUs on the world market. He is a Member of the International Dairy Federation (FIL-IDF).
